A Warm and Romantic Destination Wedding

Karen and Chuck live in New York City, but wanted a destination wedding in California. All of their family and friends flew in from freezing temperatures of the East Coast to enjoy the warmth and sunshine in Santa Monica. I love the vibrant colors (deep purple and reds) Karen selected for their wedding. Fleuretica did a wonderful job translating Karen and Chuck’s floral vision into a fresh look for the coming of Spring. Guests danced the entire night to the Bob Gail Band, Jump Start and were given a hangover care package to help them with recovery!

Auntie Em’s Kitchen hosted their first cupcake decorating class for tots! Jax and Ethan had so much fun touring the kitchen and noshing on cupcakes. Chef Teri Wahl is offering a Mother’s Day Brunch Gathering on Sunday, May 12 from 11:00am – 1:00pm. Moms will sit back and relax while their tot prepares a scrumptious meal. A Classic and Sweet Wedding

We love and adore Connie and Alex! Their wedding was full of love, laughter, and whole lot of fun! It sprinkled at the rehearsal but we were prepared for the cold on the wedding day by passing out hand warmers and offering hot tea & cider to guests. Guests were also treated to a tasty dessert station which included s’mores, a cobbler, and fresh baked cookies! The wedding ceremony was heartfelt and touching. Connie’s brother presided over the ceremony and offered great advice to the new couple! Connie and Alex, we wish you a wonderful marriage and a lifetime of happiness!

Happy New Years! 2012 was a great year for Picture Perfect Events. We are so grateful for all of our clients who allow us to be a part of their special day. To all of our vendor friends, we thank YOU for being treating our clients with priority and for being our support system at each event.

Picture Perfect Events ended 2012 on a high note. We planned 2 weddings within days of one another, with one of them being my wedding reception. Abby and Luigi were married at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Downtown Los Angeles followed by dinner and dancing at the Vibiana. Room Room Forty designed a delicious menu of prime braised short ribs, fresh ravioli, french fries and philly cheese steaks as late night snacks. Guests were treated to Herbalife shake shots topped with cookies (the groom is a prominent Doctor at Herbalife).

Abby has impeccable style and can be described as sophisticated. I loved her color scheme of black, gold, and soft touches of color. Holly Flora did an amazing job on the reception flowers and Amber Event Production added a gorgeous glow to the Vibiana. Thanks to the all the vendors who made this day special for Abby and Luigi!
