A Glamorous Destination Wedding in Palm Desert

Gumps? What’s Gumps? I asked Elisa to describe the style of her wedding and to relate it to a department store. Her simple answer was Gumps. Gumps is a high end home furnishing store in San Francisco. Elisa loves this store and wanted her wedding to be a reflection of this department store.

Elisa and Komron’s 3 day destination wedding weekend in Palm Desert, California was an experience guests will never forget. The weekend kicked off with a ladies brunch, a rehearsal dinner followed by a meet and greet cocktail event for all their guests and ended with a Sunday-Funday Brunch.

Ally from The Vine’s Leaf  nailed Elisa’s design. She mixed and matched metals (silver and gold) and softened the overall look with full and lush blooms of flowers. The lounge area was a “his and hers” which included a white tufted couch from Found Vintage Rentals accented with shag rugs, mirrored tables, and black pillows.  “His” side was designed around a scotch and cigar bar. A rustic step ladder, crystal decanters, cigars, and old books embellished the area.

A huge thanks to Peter Couture (Event Manager) at Mission Hills Country Club for accommodating all our requests! This was our interpretation of Desert Chic!
